Since 2014, The Twitter Twemoji Library remained unchanged. But its application expanded to DMs, Spaces, Tweets on hi-res screens, in-app and brand messaging, and more. We outgrew our flat aesthetic and customers demanded more representation and expression. The new Twemoji Library, totaling 3,644 unique emojis, was redesigned to be ownable, stand out from our peers, and provide our customers with a modern social media experience that elevates our current product and encourages conversation.
